The Digital Nomads pillar of the Labour Employment and Empowerment Programme (LEEP) aims to empower Nigerian youth by providing them with the skills and opportunities needed to thrive in the global digital economy. LEEP offers comprehensive digital literacy training in key areas such as data analysis, software development, virtual assistance, and call center management. These training programs are designed to equip Nigerians with the technical expertise required for remote work, making them competitive on a global scale. Whether beginners or advanced learners, participants are guided to acquire in-demand skills that position them for success in various industries.

To further enhance career opportunities, LEEP actively establishes partnerships with international companies, offering skilled Nigerians direct access to remote work opportunities. Fields such as customer service, tech support, transcription, content moderation, and more are open to participants who complete the program. Through these global partnerships, LEEP connects local talent with international employers and freelance platforms, creating seamless pathways to global employment. The program focuses on ensuring that Nigerians are well-prepared to engage in the global job market, whether they seek to join established companies or embark on their own freelance careers.

Recognizing the need for infrastructure to support remote workers, LEEP also provides access to co-working spaces across Nigeria. These spaces offer essential resources such as high-speed internet, reliable power supply, and collaborative work environments, ensuring participants have the tools they need to succeed. In addition, LEEP’s global engagement helps establish a pipeline for Nigerian talent to enter the global job market. With a goal of employing 1 million Nigerians, especially targeting millennials and Gen Z, LEEP’s Digital Nomads initiative provides access to global job markets, empowering participants to work remotely from home and achieve long-term career growth.
